Thomas partners with over 50 global airlines to provide support for CRT-based EFIS, which is both cost effective and offers outstanding performance. Our Shop Replacement Unit (SRU) based parts and repairs support the critical CRT assembly, High Voltage Power Supplies (HVPS) and Filter Panels for many of the world’s largest airlines and a number of defence forces. Our unique capabilities extend the life of our customers’ EFIS systems and significantly reduce their through-life operational costs.

Avionic CRT Support

Thomas Electronics provides a cost effective alternative to CRT part replacement, where the overhauled assembly is returned in “as new” condition, identical in “form, fit and function” to the original part.

High Voltage Power Supplies

Thomas Electronics offers cost effective high quality repair solutions for Avionic High Voltage Power Supplies for Boeing, Airbus and Fokker aircrafts. Thomas also provides a replacement service for the HVPS.


Filter Panels

Filter panels on CRT assemblies can become scratched and damaged over time. Thomas Electronics’ filter panel replacement offers a cost effective way to improve the operation and display quality of CRT line replacement units, and to extend their serviceable life.

Avionic Display Units and Test Equipment

Thomas has developed a range of stand-alone avionic CRT and LCD Display Units (DU) and related test equipment. The Thomas Electronics testers allow the maintenance operator to run and troubleshoot the LRU offline from the costly Automatic Test Equipment (ATE), enabling ATE resources to be freed up for more intensive purposes.
